nitrous vs turbo?

I have an 2006 800HO summit. Its completely stock except the can. I'm ready to start modding the sled out. I am trying to weigh the pros/cons of nitrous and a turbo. I would also like to know if either are bolt on power or if other adjustments are needed. Does either wear on the motor or surounding parts? My addiction is needing a boost, I want to get higher(up the mtn.)and blow the doors off my buddies sleds.

This dilemma is one that faces most sledders, that of balancing budget against needs. I am unaware of any formal commercially available turbo kits for that model, however for sheer performance that is the best direction.
