VELCRO or Something?????

I have a tank bag on my 2007 Apex Mountain.
My problem is not the bags, but with the velcro they send with the bags. The sticky stuff holding the velcro on doesn't stay stuck very long or very well.

Has anyone had any decent luck with anything in particular? I thought about riveting the bottom parts to the tunnel which would work really well, but the top part of the bag has a couple little 'wings' that need to hold onto the plastic or the tank itself.

None of the sticky is staying on... anyone have any ideas?

Thanks!!

Didn't I give you some of that Dual-lock stuff we use at work? If not, I'll grab some.

There's mill spec hook and loop with 3m backing out there that's pretty darn good

That sounds like Dual-lock that we use at work. It's by 3M and is actually lot controlled for aircraft assembly. We use if for a few of our interior assemblies that need to be removed on a regular basis. Very good stuff.

I'm sure it holds well, but how well does the stick'em glue on the back hold up to sub-freezing temperatures? That's where my problem is...

I think I'm just going to get a couple snaps for the parts going down the sides to the tunnel, what I'm going to do on the upper ones, I'll have to check that out a bit closer...

But I'll take some of the good stuff if you've got some extra...
