Here in Utah, we are lucky to get up in the Uinta's after Thanksgiving. usually it's just before Christmas before we can go off trail. But we have rode into June in previous years.

Christmas is the start of the season for me no matter where I need to trailer my sled to find snow.

NH. The conditions most of the time are inconsistant with varying temps in the "early season", which is normally peek season for everyone out west. The trails techniqually open around December 14th, but they suck until after christmas with open water bars and such. Same with after the first week of March.
