With the recent advent of comprehensive fuel controle I believe you will likely see a trend moving towards turbos for high altitude aplication. I just finished building the third 08 M1000 nightfire turbo this month and with no end in sight to the orders for both 1000 and 800 tubos it promises to be an interesting pre season.

Yah may have gotton a bit carried away, however the performance is nothing short of amazing. The volumn was necc and with with no real lag penalty why not.

Nice work!!!!! Are those boondocker kits or your own? Are you using the 2860, 2871, or 3071? Or something else? I was just wondering if you sell just the parts? I am looking for a turbo oil tank. I am running a Mitubishi turbo on my 800. Oil tank look sweet! Heck the hole set up looks real clean.

I work on the turbo development team for Boondocker, and having created the first M7 turbo, many parts were hand fabricated in house, however most of what you see here is part of the comercially available kit. As fot the fan/compressor combo I am not at liberty to discuss (most resembles a 3071 ish config).

Just wondering what kind of HP your are getting out of the M1000 config? and how many #'s of boost are you running. I guess I mean #'s that are safe operation of sled.

Man, if they are #'s any where close to what I am thinking I may be looking for a new sled.

Thanks

Wow, thats a good bit of boost.
What would a set up like that cost? I don't think I would ever step up to a turbo...but its a cool idea imo.
