Well first off... what bar pad are you talking about? The yellow sled or the black beingthat they both have risers. The bar pad on the yellow sled I had and ext made for the cover. The cover reaches all the way to the console. The black sled only has a 2" riser so I did not worry about the gap. It would be my luck I take the pad off and then I would wreck myself. I may be getting Pro Taper Mini-Guns, so I would have a diff bar pad then.
