How often is one suppose to service the diamond drive and is there an easier way to service rather then removing the whole case?

That depends, the 05/06 DD case does require removal to perform an oil change and flush. However the 07/08 does not, they come outfitted with a drian plug on the back side and fill on the front. As for service intervals, annual is recomended. Only use ACT drive Lube.
