Until next season.
I never really got much into watching that show until my brother (TripleXtreme) mentioned it...
Then...
It was a must on the TiVo. I friggen love that show. I just finished watching the final episode for season 1 tonight and already excited to see season 2.

Anyone else watch it much??
Any of you Canadians live that far north? I'd love to go up to that YellowKnife town some day to see it...

I think Jay is better, he's not scared to take the big loads, the crazy routes, and he makes big money for those loads also!

Hugh is funny, but reminds me of an old boss I once had... only cared for him self as long as you were making money for him he was happy...

Oh well, great sho!!!

I absolutely hate that show! When I started watching it I figured it would be more informational about the actual ice road. And if anyone on here is an actual trucker you would not appreciate this show. And those people piss me off. Especially Hugh! He runs the biggest hunk of crap equipment that could possibly still run and then when his other drivers break down its all there fault and all there problem. Its complete and utter bull$h!T. Know wonder he couldn't keep a driver all year...no one could put up with his b.s. I did like Jay because he was a laid back mellow dude and I think he did very well for his rookie year but really this show wasn't very good and if anyone else here knows anything about trucking they would agree. To me it's just another show that everyone wants to watch because of all of the drama. And it had a ton of it. lol...one more thing, every time I heard Hugh talking about how cool he is and how many times he got kicked out of bars for getting in fights I just laughed...c'mon who would actually buy the crap that come out of his mouth!?!?

Rant over...p.s.- not trying to offend anyone here, just cant stand some of this stuff on TV these days.

I liked it, I DVR'd it weekly. I too thought that there was alot more drama than there need to be and I agree with Bskidoo, its the owners responsibility to take care of the equipment.
