Introduce myself New Member

Just wanted to intorduce myself to the site.

I used to sled when I lived in AK but I moved to MO in 93' and had only gone sledding a few times since then, rentals in CO when I'd go skiing. Found out that a couple guys on the fire depot have sleds and go to WY and CO 3 + times a year, well things finally worked out where I could go with them last March, used one of thier sleds (06 RMK600) had a blast but rode an 07 RNK600 HO on the last day, frickin sweet. Well that was it I was hooked again and I told them save me a spot on atleast 2 trips in 08'.

I knew I was going to buy a sled and after some research I decided on the Yamaha Apex Mountain. I've had excellent luck with my R1 so that helped with the decision. I know its a heavier sled but I'm 6'3" and 360 #'s so I needed a bigger sled.

Now I'm just waiting until January to use it!

Welcome to the site!
You will LOVE your Apex... I'm about 215 lbs and 6' and it is SO EASY for me to throw around... you'd never know it was the heaviest mountain sled around... the power is awesome!

Get us some pics when you get riding... we are hoping to be riding around thanksgiving here in NOrthern Utah... but more realistically, it'll be around Christmas... either way... I'm excited to get back on my sled this year...

Here's a pic of mine!
